Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive review of pharmacology and oral pathology with a focus on clinically relevant principles essential for dental practice. This course is intended to aid in preparing for licensure examinations and to reinforce foundational knowledge. The course revisits the pharmacologic agents commonly used and seen in dentistry, their mechanisms of action, indications, contraindications, and potential interactions. Simultaneously, students will review the etiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management of oral pathologic conditions.
