Catalog description

This course is the second course in a three-part Prosthodontics course series. It will delve into the principles of occlusion and explore tooth replacement options for partially edentulous patients using fixed partial dentures. Additionally, the course will continue the discussion on restoring completely edentulous patients, covering topics such as complete dentures, immediate dentures, and implant overdentures. Live demonstrations featuring edentulous patients will also be included. Scheduled in the Simulation Clinic, it will include lectures and concurrent laboratory exercises to apply the didactic information learned. Course objectives are achieved through a variety of instructional methodologies including lectures, group discussions, laboratory exercises, simulation and clinical experiences.
