Patient Care III

Catalog description

This course builds on the knowledge and clinical skills gained in the Patient Care II course. Patient Care III increases the student’s exposure to direct patient care activities and will include conducting screenings, comprehensive examinations, non-surgical periodontal treatment, single unit restorative, simple extractions, preventive dental care, and periodontal therapy. Students are exposed to the clinical assessment software and the electronic health record.
