Catalog description

In this course, students apply concepts introduced in Principles of Dental Public Health to community-based experiences. The course includes a series of speakers addressing topics such as school-based programs, care for vulnerable populations, and community health centers. Through speaker engagement and service-learning opportunities focused on oral health, students explore the role and responsibility of the dentist in the community.
