Catalog description

After completion of this course, the student will have an understanding of human anatomical structures and their normal function. This course is a continuation of Human Anatomy I. It presents the anatomical structures of the Thorax, Abdomen, and Pelvis. Students will learn the structural perfection of the body systems and regions and how they are integrated to perform specific functions. Students will gain a practical understanding of human anatomy through the privilege of continuing the dissection of donor bodies in the laboratory. Active learning techniques will be employed to encourage student participation throughout the learning process.
