Biomedical and Clinical Systems I

Catalog description

This course provides the foundations for an integrated basic science curriculum utilizing an integrated review approach to each of the major systems in the body. The goal of this course is to foster application of basic science knowledge in an integrated, whole-body systems approach to fully understand how specific systems function both in health and in disease. The course will take a layered approach to systems, starting at the most basic cellular and molecular level, then moving into more complex system functioning.
