Catalog description

Students are introduced to basic theory and use cases of utilizing remotely sensed data in agricultural applications utilizing UAS, fixed-winged aircraft, and satellite-based imagery. Students will utilize UAS-based sensors to collect imagery that will be processed and analyzed in industry-leading software. General topics include RGB and multispectral data collection, processing and analysis, vegetation indices in crop and field health and condition monitoring, yield estimation, terrain analysis, and prescription generation for multiple precision ag platforms.
