Parks and Outdoor Recreation Practicum

Catalog description

Required professional work experience (paid or volunteer), 120 hours minimum for 1 hour of credit; 240 hours minimum for 2 credit hours of credit. Designed to provide the future park and recreation professional an opportunity to apply acquired professional knowledge, skills and abilities in a supervised setting. A special problem allows the student to explore a topic/issue of professional interest.
