Catalog description

Designed as a survey of pharmacology, course emphasizes the fundamentals of drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination. Course focuses on the relationship between drugs and receptors, adverse drug reactions, toxicity, and drug indications and contraindications. Utilizing evidence-based medicine, pharmacotherapeutics with application to patient care is also incorporated.
