Evidence Based Medicine

Catalog description

Intensive study in evidence based medicine and critical thinking about the information and evidence needed to produce clinical decisions. The student will be prepared to cope with the vast amount of medical literature produced every year.  The course is structured to equip the student to effectively evaluate medical literature, and apply the information acquired to clinical decision making in the provision of individualized patient care.
