Catalog description

Intensive study of human anatomy and physiology with clinical application of medical terminology. Designed to develop the PA student's working knowledge and understanding of the general structures and functional principles of the human body. Clinically relevant areas of radiographic imaging, surface anatomy, and clinical case correlations are integrated in course. Students will acquire anatomic knowledge with clinical application through cadaveric laboratory experience to include human and/or virtual dissection. Develops a strong foundation for the study of pathophysiology and disease states.
