Radiation Transport Simulation and Modeling

Catalog description

Become proficient in solving nuclear radiation transport problems using common Monte Carlo simulation software, including an open-source interface package called TOPAS for the Geant4 toolkit.  Obtain capability to simulate shielding problems, dose rate problems, and radiation sensing problems students will encounter in required nuclear engineering courses and in research.
