Catalog description

First course in a two-semester capstone sequence. Students identify a real-world or research-based problem in artificial intelligence and develop a project proposal. Emphasis is placed on problem definition, background research, project planning, and system design, including the selection of appropriate AI techniques, tools, and implementation pathways.
