Catalog description

Preparing people for leadership in a diverse and changing world requires new thinking and approaches to leadership learning and development. Learners will explore philosophies and frameworks of leadership and leadership development, as well as strategies for designing, delivering, and assessing leadership courses and programs in educational (curricular and co-curricular), workplace, and civic contexts. Learners will develop a leadership teaching philosophy statement and create a contextually and culturally relevant leadership curriculum design document (e.g., class syllabus or program outline).  Updated 3.25.24 after feedback from Dr. Collins in EdLea
