Catalog description

Students learn skills to conduct one-on-one health behavior counseling with individuals in applied health and wellness settings. Content focuses on client-centered, autonomy-supportive counseling approaches to support behavior change. Students are matched with an applied learning site and engage in at least 45 hours of applied learning outside of scheduled class time.
