Community Health Practicum

Catalog description

This practicum is for students who seek a community health field experience. Study, experience with, and reflection on the factors that contribute to health issues and what communities and small groups can do to overcome these issues is required. Exploration of lifestyle behaviors related to health risks, and how where we live, learn, work, and play affects overall health is emphasized through field experiences determined by the student and the practicum advisor.
