Catalog description

Introduces the history of Latin America from the earliest times to the present. Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, and Peru will receive special attention. Themes treated will include race and ethnicity, cultural survival, revolution and authoritarianism, women and family, and the role of economic development in Latin American history.
