Families in Context

Catalog description

A critical examination and overview of the variety of family types, forms, and experiences, and how individuals and families experience social, economic, and geographic differences. Students will be asked to engage with, identify, and explore their own experiences and will gain insight into the experiences of others within the communities they may work within, as helping professionals.
