Introduces a disability justice framework and explores how ableism, as a social system, intersects with other systems of inequality. Examines disability from intersectional perspectives that center feminist, queer, and trans analyses of disability, particularly those of U.S. people of color. Explores how disability has been constructed, regulated, and disciplined by structures and institutions as well as met with resistance by individuals and social movements.
