Catalog description

An in-depth evaluation of the experience of death, dying, loss and bereavement through a multi and cross-cultural lens. Emphasis will be given to strategies for working with older adults and their support systems. These strategies include coping and preparation for end of life-process and advanced care planning. Students will also be encouraged to share their own experiences with death, dying and coping.
