Cultural and psychological foundations of health, well-being, and longevity. Examination of lifestyle, social organization, and meaning-making practices associated with healthy aging in designated international “Blue Zones.” Emphasis on purpose, social connection, diet, physical activity, and spirituality, and their implications for individual and community well-being. Includes experiential and observational learning through international field study.
