Catalog description
Field projects designed to give students practical experience in applying geologic knowledge and skills. Collecting qualitative and quantitative data in the field, geological mapping (e.g., the Anaconda technique), cross-section construction, data interpretation (using GIS), writing final reports in the field of geology, hydrogeology, mineral exploration, mining, geological hazard, geotechnical engineering. This field project is designed to give students an applied learning experience and interpretative skills for career training in Mineral Exploration.
