Adaptive Physical Education

Catalog description

Emphasizes the principles and practices involved in providing activities for individuals who have disabilities or temporary limitations and cannot participate in or benefit from the regular activity program. This course is designed to prepare physical education teachers to provide safe, appropriate, and individualized accommodations to children with disabilities who are included in general physical education programs.
