Catalog description

Examines the history of education with Indigenous populations in both Eurocentric and non-Eurocentric contexts. Includes: examining Indigenous knowledges found outside of what is considered mainstream education, critical Indigenous philosophies and frameworks from Indigenous scholars in the academy, the foundations of Native sovereignty in the United States, and pedagogical approaches within Eurocentric and non-Eurocentric spaces.
