Literature Reviews for Doctoral Research

Catalog description

This course explores the purpose and development of literature reviews in educational research. Students learn methods of engaging, organizing, and synthesizing literature. Students examine different theoretical frameworks and think about how certain theories can be used to address their problems of practice and policy in schools. Students will begin reviewing literature for doctoral research.
