Catalog description

This course guides Ed.D. students in becoming acclimated to doctoral studies and research. Students are engaged in discussion and dialogue about the purpose of doctoral studies in education, as well as the responsibilities associated with doctoral studies and research: academic integrity, research ethics, and inclusive learning environment. Specifically, students explore doctoral studies as a way to transform ideas, epistemologies, and theories into praxis for addressing problems of practice and policy in schools.
