Social/Cultural Issues in Educational Technology

Catalog description

This course addresses social and cultural issues pertaining to the integration of educational and communications technologies (ECT) into teaching and learning; examines concerns relating to equitable access to ECT; explores the impact of ECT adoption and use upon diverse social/cultural groups; and addresses designing and developing culturally cognizant, appropriate, and relevant ECT.
