Catalog description
This course provides a knowledge base of computer science teaching practices addressing, diversity, equity, and inclusion, problem-based instruction, engineering design, assessment, and feedback. Focused activities address the twelve research-based principals of teaching and learning computing as identified by the National Centre for Computing Education. The course will introduce PBL strategies such as concept mapping, learning graphs, code tracing, parson’s problems, and modeling.
