Teaching Computer Science in Secondary Schools

Catalog description

The course will provide participants with the knowledge and ability to develop coding-based units for grades 7-12 which focus on coding in both block and text-based languages. Using Scratch (block coding) and either java or python (text coding) students will develop lessons and units which are designed according to the research-based principles developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and the National Centre for Computing Education.
