Implementing Leadership Competencies

Catalog description

Students will identify the major competencies necessary to become a more effective and efficient leader and how these competencies align with those identified by the American Association of Community College Leaders (AACC). The course includes practical application of leadership, completing a self-assessment of core leadership competencies, and developing a personal leadership growth plan. Also, students will work in teams to develop a leadership institute that can be used in a community college setting.
