Cyber security operations is an immersive course diving into the complex world of computer networks, digital security, information security (INFOSEC) and cyber threats. Covering topics from system risk assessments, threats, vulnerabilities, impact, effective countermeasures, and end-to-end communications security (COMSEC); students learn to build robust security solutions, protect PII and information/data to national critical infrastructure, and combat cybercrime. Ideal for future cyber technology professionals, the course merges theory with hands-on labs, ensuring students gain crucial practical experience in this increasingly vital and rapidly evolving field of immersive cyber systems.
