Catalog description

This course offers an introduction to theories of grief and loss as well as an overview of how loss affects individuals and families according to their developmental stages. Theoretical bases of study would include both individual and family-based models. Another component covers coping and treatment approaches, with a special emphasis on working with families coping with grief in the professional sphere.
