Catalog description

Provides an understanding of processes that govern the behavior of both hazardous and naturally-occurring substances in the environment.  Mass transport (such as advection, dispersion, and diffusion), surface and groundwater hydrology, physical/chemical/biological degradation processes, and air pollution modeling are covered. Phase equilibrium and partitioning in environmental systems will be discussed as well as interphase mass transfer and modeling.
