Catalog description

This course introduces the field of tissue engineering with an eye toward improved human and animal health. Interdisciplinary topics include cells/tissue, biomaterials, organ scaffolds, transplantation, and clinical applications of tissue engineering. Students will explore application areas such as skin regeneration, cartilage repair, and organ transplantation.
