Catalog description

An in-depth analysis of aviation safety across all elements of the industry from manufacturing to training, to airports. The student will understand the impacts and challenges of balancing operational efficiencies with the maximization of organizational safety. Safety Management Systems (SMS) concepts will be explored, and students will have the opportunity to design a sample SMS program.
