Catalog description

Students will understand State and Federal legislative processes and appreciate how ideas become law. This course will specifically include a study of the concepts of advocacy, building coalitions, caucuses, theories of statutory interpretation, and drafting legislation. Where possible the course will include meeting with legislators. Students will also understand how to attain, track, and influence Federal legislation affecting the aviation/aerospace industry.
