Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of employee safety in food and feed manufacturing environments. Students will learn about workplace hazards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements designed to protect workers from injury and illness. The course covers essential topics such as personal protective equipment (PPE), machine safety, chemical handling, and emergency procedures. By the end of the course, students will understand how to create and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with industry safety standards.
