Catalog description
Students gain knowledge about the behavioral sciences' fields, historical perspectives, and scientific methodologies. Behavior is evaluated from a biological perspective (i.e. physiology, development, adaptation, and genetics). Students refine observational skills and identify methods for quantifying behavior and interpreting results to improve animal health, management, housing, training, and welfare.
