Catalog description

This course will guide students on how to design, conduct, and analyze animal behavior experiments. The course will emphasize the development of an ethogram and the proper way to score animal behavior, including counts, duration, latencies, and bouts. Students will develop their own ethogram to score and analyze the behaviors of a focal animal and present the data as a written project.
