Catalog description

A comprehensive study of aircraft flight instrument, navigation and communication systems, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic indication equipment. Emphasizes system operation, inspection, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of pitot static systems, flight instruments, autopilot systems, communication and navigation equipment, radar and transponder systems, flight management systems, and associated antenna installations. Students apply manufacturer technical data and FAA standards to evaluate system performance and ensure continued airworthiness.
