Catalog description

Introduces the mathematics and physics principles required for aviation maintenance technicians in accordance with FAR Part 147 and FAA industry standards. Emphasizes algebra, geometry, ratios, proportions, unit conversion, force, motion, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, simple machines, aerodynamics, and the theory of flight. Students apply quantitative reasoning and physical principles to aircraft maintenance and performance scenarios using industry accepted methods and technical data.
