Catalog description

A study of the mathematics and physics principles required of aircraft maintenance technicians in accordance with FAR Part 147 and FAA Aviation Mechanic Airman Certification Standards. Emphasizes algebra, ratios and proportions, unit conversion, force, motion, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, aircraft structures, and theory of flight. Students apply quantitative reasoning to aviation maintenance, aircraft performance, and weight and balance calculations using industry accepted methods.
