Catalog description

Explores family, social, and community systems in relation to substance use disorder problems. Identifies addictive and intergenerational patterns within families and evaluates family, parenting, and couples counseling methods in relation to various ethnicities and cultures. Reviews relational clinical models including developmental, systemic, solution-focused, and narrative approaches and develops an understanding of the relationship between family factors and recovery.
