Identifies addictive and intergenerational patterns within families and evaluates family, parenting, and couples counseling methods in relation to various ethnicities and cultures. Reviews relational clinical models including developmental, systemic, solution-focused, and narrative approaches and develops an understanding of the relationship between family factors and recovery.
