Catalog description

Students will develop an understanding of classical and advanced guidance and navigation theories to critically select design guidance and navigation systems. Topics include corridor planning, uncrewed guidance, conventional and advanced guidance approaches, such as proportional navigation, geometric guidance, optimal guidance, GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems), terrain-based navigation, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), cooperative guidance and collision avoidance.
