Catalog description

This course is designed as a doctoral level seminar to provide new doctoral students with information about major research designs in special education, grounded in an understanding of how research advances the field and enhances positive outcomes for people with disabilities, their families, and teachers. The course will also provide students with knowledge and experience developing a literature review to become familiar with extant research in their area of interest. Prerequisite: Admission into the Department of Special Education PhD Program.
