Catalog description

This practicum is designed for graduate students who are teachers or related service providers working with neurodivergent learners, specifically those with autism, in school or clinical settings. The practicum offers intense, diverse, and direct school- or clinic-based teaching experiences aimed at addressing the educational, social, communicative, and behavioral needs of students with autism. Prerequisite: SPED 743; SPED 760; SPED 860; SPED 785; SPED 790; SPED 800; or permission of the instructor.
