Catalog description

This methods course focuses on strategies for supporting autistic learners. We will explore methods to enhance social communication, promote meaningful social interactions, and build inclusive learning environments. Through evidence-based approaches, we will develop skills to foster positive communication and interactions while recognizing and valuing the strengths and diversity of all autistic learners. Prerequisite: SPED 760 & SPED 860 or permission of the instructor.
