This course introduces students to Islam's Origins and historical developments, the Qur'an, the life and importance of the Prophet Muhamed, Islamic law, mysticism and sectarian divides. (Same as AAAS 349 and GIST 351.) Satisfies: Goal 4 Outcome 2 (AE42) , Global Culture (GLBC)
