Catalog description

Designed to acquaint students with the principal theories, approaches and types of empirical analysis generally employed to explain and interpret the creation and implementation of foreign policy. Topics include rational actor models, collective and bureaucratic processes, societal influences, cognitive and psychological factors, and comparative foreign policy. Not open to students with prior credit in POLS 970.
