Catalog description

This course offers an introduction to the policy-making process covering policy formulation, adoption, and implementation. Students receive an overview of major theories of the policy-making process, the actors involved in the process, and the constraints and enhancements offered by the broader political environment. The theoretical frameworks are applied to several substantive policy areas. Satisfies: Goal 3 Social Sciences (GE3S) , Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS)
